As a huge fan of the survival horror game of course the news of the next installment in series the series has peaked my interest. The next game in the series is a sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations entitled Resident Evil:Revelations 2 The first game was a masterful combination of survival horror and the action genre it has become. Although I agree that the original survival horror games are far more interesting, the newer games are also very good. From the flop that was Resident Evil 6 , Capcom has told us they will return to their survival horror roots. We can hope this as fans but will we get it is the question. Sadly there is very little information on the game so it is hard to tell. We can assume that as Resident Evil: Revelations was a action-horror this game will be also. From the information we do know there will be a new setting aside from the atmospheric Ghost Ship of the first. Also the main characters found in the first game Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine will be absent in this game. Of course there are rumors with any new release. Currently people believe Claire Redfield sister to Chris will be returning. This great news for me as Claire is my favorite character from the series and hasn't appeared in a game since Resident Evil: Code Veronica (2000). Along with this people are concerned about Capcom changing her voice actor, as Alyson Court has done the voice since 1998 and hasn't done it since 2008 for the film Resident Evil: Degeneration. I like many fans would annoyed if her voice actor was changed but also the fact since Alyson Court is also Canadian. I greatly enjoy having some Canadian voice actors in Video Games as they are usually passed over for Americans because it costs less. However only the future will tell, the game is set for an early release next year. Stay tuned for more information. Thanks for reading :)
